Changelog CEMM update 1.9.0: MQTT

CEMM MQTT

Update 1.9.0 will be released in the week of October 28, 2024. This update focuses on MQTT support. This enables the CEMM to forward data via MQTT to other systems and applications, such as Home Assistant. It is also now possible to read devices via MQTT with the CEMM, using the optional 'MQTT Monitoring' module.

Changelog

  • MQTT integration added. It is now possible to send data from the CEMM to an external MQTT broker. See the Wiki for more information.
  • Home Assistant Discovery can be used to send data from the CEMM to Home Assistant in just a few clicks. This eliminates the need for manual configuration.
  • Paid "MQTT Monitoring" module added. This module allows you to read data from an MQTT broker as a meter. The data is logged in the CEMM.
  • Webhooks moved from Tools to Settings.
  • Time series added for channels not yet used in other time series. This is automatically determined when opening a CEMM. This addition is especially useful if you add channels yourself or work with custom Modbus configurations.
  • When adding certain Modbus meters, it's now possible to set the meter's role to "grid connection." This means, among other things, that calculated electricity consumption is added to the meter.
  • Adjusted the layout and style of the notification, backup, and update pages.
  • Settings page divided into categories, for better overview.
  • Optimizations in actions with the CEMM database.
