Cedel BV considers the careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. We therefore process and secure personal data with care. In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means, among other things, that we clearly state the basis on which we process personal data. Cedel BV is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use, and for what purpose. We recommend that you read it carefully. This statement applies to the physical CEMM device, the web application portal.cemm.nl, the Energybytes platform, and the Android and iOS apps.

MyCEMM account

When you create a MyCEMM account, you provide us with certain information. This may include personal data. We only store and use the personal data you provide directly, in connection with the service you request, or that is clearly provided to us for processing. We use the following data for the purposes stated in this privacy statement:

• Your email address
• Your username

Remote or local use via the app or desktop

A CEMM, possibly in combination with the app, can be used within the local network without registration. However, external viewing of a CEMM requires registration. Once the CEMM is installed and has an internet connection, it connects to Cedel's server, which is used for external access. This external access can be disabled if desired. After registration, we store your chosen username and email address. We will not share the data associated with your username with third parties unless this is necessary for the execution of the agreement you have with us or if legally required. Customer energy data is never stored by Cedel; it is stored on the CEMM's internal storage.

Security

• Access to personal data is protected with a username and password (stored encrypted).
• We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that protect all information between you and our service when you enter personal data.
